YouTuber Spends 100 Days In The Metaverse To Become More Popular Than Mark Zuckerberg
Austin YouTuber Ryan Trahan is going viral after having spent 100 days in the Metaverse trying to “become more popular than Zuckerberg”.
Trahan’s goal was to overtake Mark Zuckerberg’s popularity score in the world of his own creation. Trahan claims that Zuckerberg had a popularity score of 100 when he began his experiment and, by the end, Trahan manages to overtake him by having a massive Metaverse party, finishing the experiment with a popularity score of 237.
Perhaps more interestingly, the video catalogues the friendship Trahan makes with another Metaverse player, culminating with the two meeting in real life.
A day in the Metaverse is 30 minutes long (Former Sims players will understand) and Trahan spent a total of 50+ hours straight in his Metaverse headset, cataloguing his friends and family’s reaction to the experiment.
